Hi,
I've got a 2010 Holden Captiva (rebadged Daewoo apparently) and it has a factory inbuilt nav system that hasn't had new maps for ten years. I learned how to get into the base OS which turns out to be Windows CE 5.00 MIPS. Memory is limited, but 7ways does in fact run on it (at least from File Explorer) and I've got it talking to the slightly unusual GPS config (Com3/7200bps).
Whilst this is just great, there are two issues that I can't seem to find a way around.
Firstly, even if I rename it to the name of the original navigation app (TurboDog.exe) it won't run from the nav button or the navigation soft button in the main menu, only by getting into the OS itself and running it from File Explorer.
Not sure how to get around this, as there seems to be some hardcoded ability to tell if it's really TurboDog or something else using that name.

Second issue is that other functions are inaccessible unless you exit 7ways, including the Reversing Camera and Climate Control Displays.
Been playing for a while without success. On the suggestion of others, tried using GDI switches, both at command line and in settings.xml. Command line changes nothing and putting a <video tag in settings.xml causes 7ways to crash on startup until a 'clean' file is generated. In fact any added tags in settings.xml seems to crash it. I cannot find anywhere in 7ways to specify GDI (which would allow the hardware to do popups for the reverse camera and climate display and reach the main menu again. 7ways works very well with just the South Australian maps extracted from the Australian map set. South Australia is about twice the size of Spain so this is quite adequate for me.

Any help appreciated. Realise it's an older vehicle and system and I was a little surprised it worked at all, but it does and quite well, just those two issues.

Thank you
Regard
